Guideline proposal for pharma companies to manage pharmacovigilance activities in digital media

Internet has become a central part of our everyday lives. Digital media are integrated in daily routines and play critical role the dissemination public health information disease prevention guidelines. For this reason, digital activities becoming more impacting pharma company is an increasing trend after pandemic period. Managing from pharmacovigilance (PV) perspective may have challenges linked to correct assessment application PV rules: was underlined recent publications, where need specific guidelines management evidenced. Considering scenario continuous evolution activities, SIMEF working group decided work on proposal guideline provide support departments companies, suggesting framework manage sponsored (i.e., website, web apps, social webpage, chatbots) potential collection adverse events (AEs). The purpose useful instructions how requirements for solutions assessing initiatives, creating governance framework, conducting vendor management, practical approaches AEs reporting follow-up. aim document also trigger broader discussion among relevant stakeholders which be appropriate considering evolving scenario.
